Josephine TenBrink, DNP joins the medical school’s Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine

The medical school is pleased to welcome Josephine TenBrink, DNP to the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.Ìý

Dr. TenBrink joined the faculty Oct. 25 as an assistant professor. Previously, Dr. TenBrink was a registered nurse at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital for four years, and was a RN and a Pediatric/CICU traveler with Cross Country Travel Corps for a year.

She is an alumna of the University of Michigan, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and English in 2008. She went on to earn a master’s degree in nursing in 2012 from DePaul University. In April 2021, she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Pediatric Primary Care from Rush University.

Dr. TenBrink is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
