Get your flu shot and talk with WMed Health physicians during Healthcare Chat at the Family Health Center

Healthcare Chat at the Family Health Center
New and established patients are welcome to attend and no appointment is needed.

Physicians from the WMed Health Family Medicine practice at the Family Health Center will be on hand Wednesday evening to offer flu shots for children and adults, and answer questions from the community about COVID-19.

The Healthcare Chat is scheduled for 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October, 28, on the second floor of the Family Health Center, 117 W. Paterson St., in Kalamazoo. New and established patients are welcome to attend and no appointment is needed.

For attendees who receive a flu shot, the cost of the vaccine will be billed to their insurance. Those without insurance can pay $20 and cash or credit card will be accepted. Those with an income below 200 percent of the poverty level can attest to that fact and the $20 fee will be waived.

Currently, the new high dose influenza vaccine for those 65 and older is not available at the WMed Health Family Medicine practice at the Family Health Center.
